
Well, have to give it up for Sugiyami's longevity - has the longest current active streak of 56 Grand Slam main draw appearances in a row - wow! Wonder who the second longest would be, and who the leaders on the men's side would be; my educated guess would be perhaps Petrova or Jankovic - and either Federer and/or Santoro on the men's side (or perhaps Davydenko or Lubijic); or perhaps Spadea. Also, checked out the oldest racquet sport in the world yesterday - court tennis (actually played a set as well) - believe it originated around 100 years ago and is the ancestor of all current racquet sports (e.g., regular or lawn tennis, racquetball, squash, etc.).
